If you are thinking about changing your appearance settings, then this is the place. Thee are two different ways to access the appearance menu. First is to right click on the desktop and go to the bottom selection which will say desktop preferences. Next is to open up your applications menu, go to preferences, and select appearance settings. Once it it opens up it should look like this.

Changing your appearance

The first selection you can see is the desktop. This is where you would select your background and what things you want to show up on the desktop. Next is the menu bar.

This is where you can select where the menu bar is, and what color the text and backdrop is. You can also change the size of the menu bar as well. Next is the system.

This is where you can select what is your main font, what your highlight color is, and how big your mouse curser size is. Next is the defaults.

This is where you can select what the defaults of all of the other selections you just made for any size of screen. Then if you get a bigger or smaller screen, you can have a default so you don’t have to go through and do this all over again! That’s all on changing your appearance!
