Ultimaker Cura is a 3D model slicing program that is available on most computers. Here is how to get Ultimaker Cura on raspberry pi. Open up pi-apps and go to the engineering section. It will be the first thing in the list.

Install it(might take a while) then look inside of your applications menu and open it. It will you to sign in and to fill out a couple of things so do as it says. Once complete, it will look like this.

To open a file click the file button on the top right corner and then open file. Once it loads your 3D model will come up on the build plane.

Then in the bottom right corner you can click slice. Once complete it will will tell you how long it will take to print and the layers it goes through. If a image is to big for the build plane it will be unable to slice. Once finished you can export it to a disk or a #d printer you have connected. If you are looking for a good spot to design 3D models, Tinkercad is free and browser based and easy to learn. That’s all on Ultimaker Cura on Raspberry pi!
