Once you have two monitors plugged in, you can select which one you want to be where. Just open the applications menu and go to preferences, then screen configuration. Then you can select where you want each monitor to be and which one is going to be the main. Only the Raspberry pi 4 model b or the Raspberry pi 400 have the double monitor features. If you have any other models then double monitors is not possible for you.
