Minecraft pi was created by Microsoft specifically for raspberry pi. Only thing is, the original version no longer is automatically preinstalled on your new raspberry pi OS. If you want to install Minecraft Pi, here’s how.
The first thing that your going to need is pi-apps. If you don;t have pi-apps, click here to for instructions on how to install it. The next step is to go to the games section of pi-apps. If you scroll down a little, you will see several versions of minecraft. Some of them you have to pay for and other take up a lot of memory. What you are looking for is one called minecraft pi(modded). Click it then click install.

It should install pretty quickly. Once done open the applications menu, and if it wasn’t there before there will be a new menu section called games. Click it then on minecraft pi.
The first thing that you notice is that there are a lot of options. Most of these you can ignore by click OK. The only one you really want to change is the last one, which is asking you for your username. add it in and it will open up to this.

Click start game to then start create new world. It will ask you if you want creative or survival, so pick and then it will generate. To move around use your mouse and the WSAD keys. To open inventory press E, and to switch items in the hot bar press the numbers.
