Raspberry pi SD cards

James Boudreaux

finding the right Raspberry pi SD cards can be kind of difficult. Only some sizes and brands will work with your raspberry pi. The most suggested brand and size is the Samsung evo select 256 GB, which can be found on Amazon here.

If you try to use a 512 GB card, make sure that you can return it if it doesn’t work. It generally gets itself suck on the first rainbow screen when you turn your pi on. The only brand that has been said to work it the Samsung evo select one, which can be found here on Amazon.

If you are looking for a cheaper and lower GB options, then I would suggest using the brand of Sandisk. if you look inside of the photo isle at any Walmart you will probably find a bunch of 32 GB cards for about 10 dollars each. or you can get it on Amazon here.

If you are looking for something even cheaper and smaller than this. The smallest size that I would suggest that you go is 16 GB. If you have one of the raspberry pi kits this is what size and card they come with. to get it on amazon, click here.

That’s all on raspberry pi SD cards and which ones to buy. I hope that this helped you out on your raspberry pi journey! If you have any questions or concerns please contact us VIA the contact us tab or by emailing pihacks@icloud.com! Good luck with your RPI!
