adding additional apps to RPI's top menu bar

James Boudreaux

Adding additional apps to Your RPI’s top menu bar is super simple. There are already a couple of applications already there. Chromium, file manager, and terminal. To add or remove items, left click on any of the items that are already there. Then click application launch bar settings. It will be first on the list on things. Once it opens up, it will look like this.

On the left side you can see what is on your menu already.on the right side you can see your application bar displayed. If you open one of the categories and click on an app, you can add it by clicking add from the center. To remove something from the bar, click one of the apps on the left side and then click remove in the middle. To move an app left or right use the open and down selection. Keep in mind that the more apps that you add, the less of the window that you will see.

That’s all about adding additional apps to Your RPI’s top menu bar. I hope that this helped you out. If you have any questions or concerns contact us VIA the contact us page or by emailing pihacks@icloud.com. Good luck on your raspberry pi adventure!
