Getting blender on a raspberry pi is really easy if you know what you’re doing.To find out more about blender, click here. Sadly, blender is not available in pi-apps. To get blender 3d on a raspberry pi, the first thing to do is run this in the terminal.

Sudo apt-get install blender

Once it is finished you will see the icon show up inside of your graphics section of your applications menu. When you click to open it you will notice that it wont open. In order to open it enter this into the terminal

MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=3.3 blender

It should open the blender window. This is not a great solution, but if you really want blender, it’ll work. Just copy the text above and make sure to put it somewhere safe where you’ll remember it.

The version of blender that you get may be a older version. I do not know how to get a newer version but I’ll figure it out soon enough. If you want to learn about how to use blender you should take this class on skillshare, it explains a lot. There is also classes on youtube and stuff but I prefer skillshare. That’s all on getting blender on a raspberry pi.
