This natural oasis in the desert is a place of beauty. Springs and ponds are formed by an earthquake seep along the San Andreas Fault. An easy two mile round trip walk will lead you through a shady palm oasis, through a desert wash, and to the McCallum pond. Take a rest at one of the benches in the cool of the shade while you watch the fish in the pond.
