Another moving day is in the books. The past couple days have been kind of busy. Yesterday morning when we woke up, we didn’t have much water so I went to fill the tank. We have been running that way for the week since the temperatures were low, and the park was shutting off the water after 4 every day. So I notice a stead drip from the belly of the trailer. Instantly we go into alert mode, and start taking the trailer apart to find the source of the water. We quickly narrowed it down to the water pump. It failed, and was leaking directly from the pump. Off to Camping World we go. Of course the reason the water pressure was so much better on the pump is we had an “extreme” 5.7 GPM pump, and of course these aren’t pumps carried by most camper/rv parts houses. Needing the pump immediately, we settled for one they had, and off we go to Lowes for some other supplies, and back to the house to install the new pump. It went in relatively easy, and worked! Now the task of removing all the water that spilled out. We did a pretty good job of mopping up the water, and ran our dehumidifier sealed in the front storage compartment. This morning, instead of our normal finish packing up, and move, I had to put the walls back up, and pack up the trailer. Took a little longer than normal, but nothing too major. Our move today was very short, 99 miles from Park to Park to be exact. And of the 99, 95 of it was flat straight interstate. Couldn’t ask for a smoother drive! We left Robert Louisiana and moved to just outside of Biloxi Mississippi. Got settled in, and the kids went and played at the super sweet playground at the park. Had Mississippi Pot-roast for dinner in commemoration of our new state. Lol, if you haven’t had it, try it, I will include the link to the recipe I used! It turned out pretty good.
